What I built

  • Developed Python diagnostics for Ping, DNS, SNMP (pysnmp), and Traceroute with resilient output parsing, validation, and failure handling.
  • Built Django REST Framework APIs with JWT authentication (SimpleJWT) and Redis, plus CSV reporting for operations teams.
  • Delivered a React/TypeScript dashboard for live network status and history.
  • Containerised with Docker and deployed on AWS, where the diagnostics have access to OS-level network tools.
